Lyall Bay SLSC is an app developed not only for the members of the Lyall Bay Surf Club but also for anyone visiting the Lyall Bay Beach. The app consists of 6 main screens.



- The main screen (Emergency Call)



The opening view includes two central buttons. The call button can be used to call the club at any point. The emergency call button is to be used in case of an emergency. It should be used to alert the emergency services in case a member or a visitor is in danger.
There is also a Menu button on the top left. Press the menu button to view the table menu with the following options:



- The Club News 


This screen is connected to the club’s Facebook page. The user can get the latest news about the club here.




- Live from the beach


If you want to see the beach and surf conditions before going to the beach and don’t trust the forecast, this app provides live broadcasting from a webcam located on the beach. This way you will know what the weather conditions are like at that moment


- Patrol Teams
 

Club members to patrol the Lyall Bay Beach on specific dates and times. In this screen you can see which team is next for patrolling.




- Weather Forecast 


Here we get the current weather forecast for the Lyall Bay Beach.

 

- Swell Report

Here we get the swell report of Marine Weather NZ for the Lyall Bay Beach. 




-Training Logs
 

Here, the members can log their trainings. They can view upcoming and past trainings. Press the add button on the right side of the navigation bar to add a new training log. Simply type a title, location and date of the training.

They can also delete training logs simply swiping the row to left and tap delete. 

Users can also view their training details and set a notification. When a training is selected you can see the details of the training and as well as the location on the map. Tap on the "set alert" and you will get a notification an hour before the training. Tap on other trainings, to go back to the main training log view.
